According to the original factory specifications, the replacing OEM number is 881170A15; replacement for Mercury outboard motor, easy installation, direct replacement of old or defective parts.
For power trim models, 15-foot (4.58 m) wiring harness and integrated warning horn. New design with soft-grip handle and power trim cables for the front-mount switch. Ref. Throttle/Shift Cable Gen I – 850716A or 897977A. Throttle/Shift Cable (896143A) for MY2005 and newer 8/9.9 FourStroke outboards. 8-9.9 4-stroke engines generation changeover via S/N OR192772 and new 15/20 4-stroke engines will use Gen I series throttle/shift cables.
Compatible with all current Mercury/Mariner outboard motors (with integrated power trim) and Force outboard motors from 1993 onwards, 40 hp and above, using Mercury cables (with power trim). When used with MY2005 and newer 8/9, 9/15/20 FourStroke outboard motors, an adapter wiring harness (84-892473A01) is required. Remote control cables must be connected to the control box using a Gen I-style 8-pin connector.
