A NOTICE:
Adjusting the rubber grommet: The cables can be pulled through the rubber grommet individually. A little lubricant makes this easier.
Before installing your new stator:
Check the AC output voltage of the stator.
Replace all burnt or corroded connections on the stator and regulator/rectifier.
Check and repair any melted cables.
Use high-temperature dielectric grease on all connections.
Our stator may use a different cable color coding than your original.
All cables are connected in the correct order; please do not change the wiring.
This stator is designed as a direct replacement and should be used as such.
Always use thread-locking compound when screwing the stator in place. If our stator contains a pickup coil, be sure to ensure the correct air gap during installation.

The battery's condition is crucial. No stator can replace a weak or defective battery. If in doubt, charge your battery and have it subjected to a load test, or replace it if necessary. ALWAYS start with a fully charged battery!
